Singlet Numbers Policy

No Players Own Their Singlet Number. Whilst players own a singlet, they do not own their singlet number.
Through the seasons, players may be required to change their singlet number to avoid clashes within their teams. Players can swap back to their original singlet number at the end of the season, but the onus is on the player/their parent or guardian to organise the swap back.

There was a previous policy of seniority to resolve SN clashes. With the introduction of the new uniform, this policy no longer exists.
If your team has a clash, the rule is to ring Julie Stafford - 9499 4659 - she will organise a swap based on singlet size and clashes in other teams. No players/parents are to organise swaps amongst themselves. This practice has been responsible for the notoriously inaccurate singlet numbers on team sheets, which causes problems for team managers, problems for Julie, problems for team managers recruiting fill-in players and problems for selectors.
